About

About me

I have been taking photographs for 15 years and I began to take interest in photography on a journey to Iceland in the mid-nineties where I was inspired by the waterfalls and the great unaffected nature. My preferred motives are: water, the reflection of light, shadows and nature in general. In addition I have a predilection for macro photography because of its ability to show the things our eyes normally cannot see. In my photographs I emphasize the play of light and the compositional symmetry which plays an important role because of the limited frame of the photograph.

I have a principle not to digitally manipulate, enhance or in any way alter my photographs: what you see is reality through a lens.
